🧠 Frequency: The Hidden Metric of Mental Performance and How it Wins Games

As an athlete, you can practice for hours, but under pressure you will default to the level of your frequency.


🔍 What Is Frequency?

In pro sports, we measure everything...VO2 max, vertical leap, reaction time, heart rate variability.

But the variable we are not talking about enough in sport - in my opinion - is frequency. Frequency is your energetic signature. It determines how an athlete thinks, feels, believes, reacts, and leads...and also how they heal when injured.

Frequency is not a metaphor.
Frequency is a real, actual measurable phenomenon rooted in quantum physics and further validated by the Map of Consciousness developed by Dr. David R. Hawkins in Power vs. Force.

Low-frequency = fear, shame, overthinking, collapse under pressure.
High-frequency = clarity, courage, flow, peace and leadership.


Frequency = Voltage + Vibe

Think of every athlete like a signal tower.
What they receive (voltage) and how strongly they exude it (vibe) is their frequency.

Some athletes experience trauma and grief and still exude joy

Others receive trauma and grief and exude shame or apathy. Those are the ones who don't make it to the biggest stages of the NBA or NFL.

Low-frequency athletes:

  • Overanalyze

  • React over-emotionally and negatively to the crowd, refs, or social media

  • Struggle to execute under pressure

High-frequency athletes:

  • Stay present under stress

  • Enter the zone faster - have great performances

  • Selflessly serve their teammates and coaches

  • Make instinctive, next-level decisions

  • Play healthier more often and heal quickly

🧬 The Science: Quantum Meets the Court

In quantum physics, reality isn’t fixed. Reality collapses into form based on observation and energetic resonance.

That means what you observe internally...your mindset, emotions, and even subconscious fears...influences what you create on the court.

Metacognition is the fastest way to begin to elevate your frequency.

How you show up is your frequency.

Fear stored in the kidneys (as understood in Chinese medicine and now echoed by epigenetics) creates nervous tension and static.


With a Sports Energy Medicine session, we clear that static, recalibrating the athlete to a higher frequency—less fear, more focus. An athlete with a higher frequency outplays and outlasts an athlete at a lower frequency. And a team with several high frequency athletes? That team is likely the season's end champions!

Every elite athlete has five bodies operating simultaneously:

  1. Physical –        strength, endurance, body mechanics

  2. Vital –               energy systems, emotions, intuition

  3. Mental –           thoughts, focus, self-talk

  4. Supramental - vision, clarity, creative intelligence

  5. Cosmic –          oneness, God body, flow state, transcendence

Most performance programs stop at the physical and mental.
But greatness lives in the supramental and cosmic bodies.
When you train those layers, you start being connected to your highest talents and your biggest moments.


🔓 Raising Frequency = Better Output

Frequency can be raised by:

Hustle and grind can be helpful but raising your frequency is the answer.

  • Your athlete’s frequency is the true climate of your team.

  • You can’t build cohesion if you’re operating at fear and control.

  • Teach athletes to tune their signal before training their skills.

  • Your team is only as good as their state - not their habits or skills.

You don’t have to believe in energy to benefit from it.
Just like gravity, frequency works. This is whether you’re aware of it or not.
